My journey as a seamstress began with many unfinished projects focused on Alaskan Native Regalia in my teens. Trial and error, but with my mother and Aaka's(grandmother's) guidance I was motivated to continue. I have spent half of my life born and raised in Utqiagvik(Barrow), Alaska.  After traveling and living abroad my desire was to come home to Alaska. My love for sewing ties into where I come from and it'll always be apart of me.
